Agreed. Alphabetical is ok when you only have a handful of items, but I'm pushing to have SolarWinds as my "single point of truth." So I have a ton of custom properties.

Bump... being able to define the custom property order is long overdue.  While the custom HTML resource workaround works well for the node details page, it does not help when editing node details.  I have over 30 custom properties and need the ability to order/group them by relevance, not alphabetically.

Yeah, it's somewhat disappointing that this is still an issue.  It seems like it would be an easy thing to improve that would result in a significant improvement in user experience.

Not only on the page view, but also on the Add Node page.

Good work around but having the application do it native would be awesome!!!

I am now using you knowledge and research for my benefit via this work around but just saying why do a work around when the application should be able to do it for us.

Weird that both of you (http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/1928) request basically the same thing within an hour of each other...
