Cisco FTD IPSec/SSL VPN ASA monitoring parity

The IPSec and SSL VPN monitoring on Cisco ASAs is great, however that functionality has yet to come to the FTD firewalls despite them basically being identical CLIs with minor exceptions.  When can we expect to see the same level of monitoring with FTDs as ASAs?  Nearly all of my clients are migrating to FTDs and this is a big sticking point.

  • I still require the ability to monitor IPSec VPN tunnels on Ciscos flagship mainstream firewalls without having to manually build all my own polling and monitoring.  The ASAs are able to do this no problem, FTDs are ASA code with very slight modifications to commands and prompts.  Please consider resolving this.
