My customer's network engineering team deployed a unique configuration that connects their network together with BGP neighbors on different VRFs but sharing the same IP address.
Connectivity is fine but the multiple neighbors, with the same IP address, are stored in SNMP as a single neighbor thus making monitoring ineffective.
Feature Request:
CLI command granularity to display the neighbors properly.
Example: allow a command like
show ip bgp vpnv4 all neighbors | include BGP neighbor is|BGP state|Local host
Additional information
There is already some CLI monitoring done by Orion for very specific use cases (ASA, Nexus, and IPSLA).
We would like to see the CLI capabilities expanded and made more flexible like UnDP where you could create a custom CLI command and then leverage the polling engines to run it against specific devices at specific intervals.
