Ability to Archive Nodes

It would be good if we could archive nodes for historical reporting purposes,

just like we have a un-manage ability, being able to archive a node so that when we need to we can go back in time.

the idea was spawned by this discussion

https://thwack.solarwinds.com/thread/70547

it would also be could if npm could automatically archive a node when the vendor / model / serial number changes

and since the node is an "archive" node not an "active" node the archive node should not count towards the licence count.

  • Example:  You upgrade a router at a remote site.  Now you just lost all the data from the old system, no traffic reports, no way to analyze bandwidth, etc....  Now multiply that by 200 routers, 1000 switches and you can see why this is needed....

Archive is perfect so that it could be a separate database not harming any production system performance....
