Deployment Health shows no test

I haven't seen this behavior before and I'm not finding anything definitive from that specific error message. Do you have HA and/or APEs? You could try restart the SWA service on those member servers.

Single server with separate SQL. Only NPM 2020.2.1 HF2.

Administration service, yes already restarted that one a few times

Same. Mine has been this way for months. Same for the updates & evals tab.

My diagnostics tab is also blank nick. So 3 out of the 4 are not displaying. I've restated all services a couple of times with no joy. Also 2 of my polling engines are showing as critical but when you go to the servers they show as all working fine.

Does anyone know where we can start to resolve these issues?

The "Critical" status refers to the status of deployment health checks, not the overall server status (confusing!). To fix the two servers showing critical, click on the "Deployment Health" tab. On the left, click "Severity" and make sure the "Problems" box is ticked. That will show you which checks have problems.

Fix those problems, re-run the checks, and the critical status will go away.

Our issue was a lot deeper in the end. The original SQL install was not configured correctly so I have just completed a full rebuild (From scratch) of our SolarWinds platform

MarkyB We are having a similar issue and believe it may be a issue with our DB too, am I able to just check whether you had attempted an upgrade prior to the issues you had with the deployment health page?

SOHanlon2 I have upgraded at least 3 time since the original upgrade that caused this issue. I believe the next major update is scheduled to resolve this one. But i have been told that before ;) After 18 months of SolarWinds running i got involved and realised the original install have not been done correctly, so i had to do a full rebuild. Everything was fine until i performed the latest upgrade about 12 months ago. The full rebuild was a loss of 18 months data as well with a new database starting from scratch. So i know this bug was from a new version release, and i believe SolarWinds acknowledge that as well. Everything was fine until the upgrade and has been like this since. I have to go to the main polling engine at least once a week to run database maintenance to get SolarWinds to run properly. Even though i have been told the database maintenance is running, i know it is not because it slows the system down until i run the database maintenance again. Hope that helps.
