Orion Maps - how do I add a specific map to a specific group

Pretty much as the title states, and probably I'm missing something really obvious.

So I've created a specific map - let's call it 'Map ABC' in Orion maps as I want to keep an eye on how this side of things is developing. I've even saved the map as Map ABC.

Now how do I get this map to display in a specific group called 'Map ABC Group'?

To add to the above, I have added a page / tab in the left hand side popout called "Orion Map" for the group, and I want to display this specific map, for this specific group, and only in this group. As a bonus, it would be nice if said map was available from any node in this group without any extra effort, but not essential.

TIA

EDIT: would be real nice if this was dynamic and based on the group name a la Atlas, so that I don't have to do it for each, and every group.

same here, the orion map (i can add only one single orion map) will be display'd on each group

j.daniel As indicated through this thread - Orion Maps does not yet provide the capability to have a custom built map added as a part of the Group Details page similar to this post: thwack.solarwinds.com/.../custom-maps-for-group-details-page

I may have missed this in various announcements, but are we any closer to being able to:

a. create static Orion Maps laid out as we want? AND

b. that we can have assigned or auto assigned (based on group/map name a la Atlas) to a specific page/group?

stuartd This feature is not a part of the 2020.2.5 release. It is still VERY high on the list of items to accomplish. I have a number of examples from customers and very much aware of the need and desire to see this make its way into the product.

We are moving three legacy SW installs into our 2020.2.5 unified SolarWinds and I am trying to do a like-like map migration but use Orion Maps on the 2020.2.5 instance instead of importing 350+ Network Atlas maps...

Can the ${Name} be hard wired for Orion Maps??

Hi all, I've recently run into the same issue trying to deploy some new Orion maps, so I've raised a feature request after chatting to the SolarWinds support team. Feel free to vote for it and hopefully it can be picked up for a future upgrade if it's something we would still like to see
