I would like to create an Alert when a device stops responding to SNMP. I do not see this as a choice when creating an Alert. I can however create a view in SYS Mgr with this field? Can anyone help me to determine how to create this alert?
set the interface stats to unknow and you'll know when snmp stops working however you may get some false positives if people do work on i nterfaces like swaping them out.
