How to show link utilization between nested map (nested map child objects to nested map child objects)

On Network Atlas, If we have a only map, We can configure for show status devices and link utilization between devices,

but If we have many map (We mean many child map), We can show the status of its child objects, but We cannot show link utilization between nested map.

Example

Nested Map A (Building A Map) include access switch A1, access switch A2, distribute switch A1 - - - - - All Device can show status node and link utilization between node

Nested Map B (Building B Map) include distribute switch B1, core switch B1 - - - - - All Device can show status node and link utilization between node

In this problem

On diagram, distribute switch A1 on Nested Map A connected core switch B1 on Nested Map B,

If We create parent map show nested map child objects (Nested Map A) and nested map child objects (Nested Map B) ,

We cannot show link utilization between Nested Map A and Nested Map B.

How to configure for show link utilization between nested map?

  • Hi,

You can manually draw a link in Network Atlas:

    LinkStatus2.JPG

Right click on the link and select properties. Here you can assign any monitored element to the link, so that it gets its status from the performance of said element.

    Hope this helps,
