Running 'show' commands to all Cisco devices

Hi All! 
 I'm trying to run a set of basic show commands on all of my Cisco devices, and was planning on using the "Execute Command Script on Devices" job for that. Since I'm new to this and couldn't find any documentation on it, I was wondering if there are example scripts somewhere? What scripting language are those scripts supposed to be written in? 
 Can I just add this as my script: 
 
 show version 
 show inventory 
 show license all 
 
 And add a "### START" at the beginning and "### END" at the end of each node.

I don't have that job in our environment, but we do something very similar to what you want... and it is very straightforward to create from scratch. Steps are to first create a new job.. 
 > choose your when to run options 
 > then what nodes it is run against 
 > any notification - and here as a minimum you will want to save the results to a file 
 > and then add your script... 
 For the script, you can create a script file, and that is simply a text file with one line per each command. Or you can just add your commands direct into the job window: 
 For the simple commands like the ones you've suggested that should be all you need to do.

 For example, one of our more complicated scripts, extracts the lists of pools from any of our F5s. For this we need to introduce waits so it looks like this:
