How to add a live data graph on internet interface connecting to our service providers.

Good morning,

I'm new to the solar wind environment and trying to check if we can have a live data graph summary page to monitor our internet interface connecting to each of our service provider.

Thanks.

  • This is something which is already in place, as part of the default navigation structure in NTA. Whilst you could create a new Summary type page and populate the widgets, the easiest thing is to follow:

    1. Ensure your WAN router is configured to send flow data to Orion and that the device and the interfaces are actively being monitored via SNMP
    2. Navigate to the default NTA Summary page and in the Flow Sources widget confirm you have the device and interface/s showing and showing as receiving flow data
    3. Click on the Interface name in this widget, which will take you to the default page showing the breakdown and analysis of traffic for this interface; conversations, top talker end points, protocols, applications etc.
