How to debug teh log4net loggly appenders

We use log4net loggly appender for connecting to loggly. Past few days enabling loggly causes CPU spike on application. via log4net , loggly is connected with HTTPS mode(logs-01.loggly.com ) COuld you please help with the debugging options available?
