Trying to install a demo of Log Manager and the configuration wizard is saying that it has detected an "unsupported version of SQL server". My SQL server is MS SQL 2017. What gives?
I clearly don't understand what is going on here. The installed version of SQL is 2017, but here is what it is reporting:
Microsoft SQL Server 2016 (RTM-GDR) (KB4019088) - 13.0.1742.0 (X64) Jul 5 2017 23:41:17 Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation Standard Edition (64-bit) on Windows Server 2016 Standard 6.3 <X64> (Build 14393: ) (Hypervisor)

That's entirely possible. From looking at the build number you provided earlier (Microsoft SQL Server 2016 (RTM-GDR) (KB4019088) - 13.0.1742.0 (X64)) it looks like you are running SQL Server 2016, without SP1. Log Manager requires SP1 to be installed. Once you upgrade your SQL Server to SP1, you should no longer see that warning message during the install.
