Log Manager for Orion v1.0 RC1

Just installed this module and configured a few device to send syslogs to the Orion server.

I have confirmed that the devices are added to Orion as Nodes but can't see any logs in the Logs dashboard.

I have manually changed the Log Manager option on the nodes to Monitor instead of Default.

Furthermore, I can't see the Analyze Logs option in the Management resource for Nodes.

My account doesn't have any limitations defined that would prevent me from seeing logs.

Nothing on the server is blocking the ports required for this to work.

Any ideas what could be wrong? Support doesn't know about this product and I do not own a license for it so I couldn't get any help there.

Hi, did you run a quick Wireshark to see if stuff is actually arriving?

Yes I do, using SolarWinds DPA Integration Components v11.1.1191.0.

It's a known issue we are working to address. Let me check with the team to see if we can manually apply the fix. I will follow-up with you shortly.

A fix for this issue is included as part of LM RC2. You can download this from your Customer Portal and SolarWinds.com

There is a trial in the customer portal, not a license for the product.
