As it currently stands with Kiwi "Archive Options" Files are moved to a destination folder and Zip'ed for file compression after the move. Doing so on a local server has a minimal impact, however if you were to store your files on a remote server this increases the amount of bandwidth needed to transfer the uncompressed files, and then additional bandwidth to compress the files over the network.
I am requesting that the option/feature be available to Zip the files prior to moving them to reduce network load / bandwidth consumption.
