Implementing Kiwi SYSLOG server. Need to forward windows logs and installed Solawinds Event Log Forwarder.

Any suggestion where to look next?
Read also that NXLOG is might be an alternative - any thoughts one that? Perhaps more users (on windows) and so better version.
