  • Hi thewizards2k2

CatTools is connecting fine and sending the correct command, however it appears the device is simply not responding back with any command output.

Has anything been changed on the device recently (O/S upgrade maybe?)

    Regards,

    Steve

  • steve,

Thank you for the quick response. I also thought about checking to make sure there was no O/S upgrade. But no, there was no  O/S upgrade. I even checked the running configs to see if we added any extra lines of commands, but nothing, Everything (o/s and run-config ) is the exact same. So after verifying that, i started to mess around with the variation features. And under "additional commands", "disable paging," i added "terminal length 2200." After doing that, it can now back-up running config  with no problems.  it makes no sense, to me why this would work but not terminal length 0. is it some sort of bug in cattools? Does the new RC release address this?

  • When you startup the CatTools manager UI, there should be a debug level-4 message in the Info Log pane which states the version of the 'Protocol Engine'.

Could you confirm which version is says it is currently using please?  (2.x.x.xx?)

    Thanks,

    Steve
