  • Wait Time Analysis: Additional support for MySQL to easily point you to the most impactful queries running on your servers, allowing you to focus optimization efforts
  • Performance enhancements: making optimization improvements that will create better performance

What’s on the horizon for DPM 

Here is a partial list of the things we are considering or planning.   • Visual Explain Plan: Additional support for MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB to provide visual representation of the EXPLAIN statement for queries with samples
  • Wait Time Analysis: Additional support for PostgreSQL to easily point you to the most impactful queries running on your servers, allowing you to focus optimization efforts
  • Deadlocks (support for additional databases)
    • Provide a diagram visual of the deadlock and the processes associated with it such as various details on spids, locks (owners, waiters)y.
  • Index Analysis: Provide actionable information to help you make smart decisions about index management related to missing, overlapping, and unused indexes which can help speed performance of your databases
  • Customization: Create more customization options related to charts (ie. Line charts, specify host types)
  • Other enhancements and improvements under consideration:
    • More flexibility in deployments
    • Better insight into what’s impacting your overall environment
    • More drill down capability making it easier to determine root cause
    • Better remediation via recommendations
    • Better integration capabilities
    • More alerting features and functionality
    • Easier UI Navigation
    • Summary Page customization (ie add/remove charts and graphs)
