What are the minimum roles and privileges required for the Solarwinds Database Performance Analyser service account?
Because the security team and security best practices consider granting the Enterprise and Domain Admins privileges to be excessive.
Based on this KB article: Register a SQL Server instance for DPA monitoring without entering credentials of a user with the sysadmin role (solarwinds.com) looks like the Service account does not require the Enterprise and Domain Admins privileges, only the target SQL server SYSADMIN role.
Any assistance with the service account's granular account permissions would be highly appreciated.
