DPA Ignite service using CPU to 97%

DPA's Ignite service (tomcat8.exe) took CPU to 100%, which lasted for almost 30 mins. During which number of connections to DPA DB almost doubled. This behaviour kicks off around midnight. Does anyone know what exactly DPA does in the background? To me, it looks like a scheduled maintenance or index analysis kind of job. But dont know the culprit exactly. Any help would be appreciated.

DPA performs numerous data maintenance jobs such as rolling up expired raw data to hourly, hourly to daily, etc. It also does analysis of queries and plans for Table Tuning among other daily maintenance activities.

Thanks for the reply. does DPA allows to change the schedule of these jobs? specially the one runs around mid-night?
