DbM interoperability

I am interested in a tool (much like Database Mapper) which is functional with the Big$$ dBs (e.g. Oracle, M$, etc.) and the not so big$$ dBs (e.g. firebird, mongoDB, etc.). Are there plans to move SW Database Mapper tool to include that hydrogenous functionality?
