reduce "Query System Status" delay before auto-starting service

Hello,

I have MRC service set to auto-start on connect and auto-stop on disconnect. This works great, except for an apparent ~1min "Query System Status" delay before attmepting to start the service. Is there any way to reduce/eliminate this? Perhaps always attempt to start service immediately?
