I'm new to DameWare and am wonder what is the difference between the DameWare Mini Remote Control Service and the DameWare Mini Remote Proxy Service?

Have you checked out the Virtual Classroom "DAMEWARE REMOTE SUPPORT DEPLOYMENT, INITIAL CONFIGURATION AND FUNDAMENTALS" in your Customer Portal? This is a 1hr long video that if extremely informative for anyone new to Dameware and should answer most of your questions.
Basically the the Proxy Agent allows connection to Over the Internet computers (Remote Hosts) through your Dameware Proxy Server as where the other Agent is intended for connecting to devices currently located on the same network as your Dameware Mini Remote.
