      Hello

I can not work with the juniper router

When trying to run thr cli.modify.config it gives me the following error message:

"device type: juniper.router has not yet had this functionality. skipping this device."

When I try to run the "cli.send.command" script With the command "show version" it gives me the following error message:

      "the following command is invalid"

      What am I doing wrong?

Hi Sharon - have you checked out the supported activities list to see if your activities are supported by the device?

          http://www.kiwisyslog.com/wrapper/devices-supported/

              ok,

I understand that Modify Config is not supported by you,

               but what about  Send Commands?

The second part of my question is:

When I try to run the "cli.send.command" script With the command "show version" it gives me the following error message:

              "the following command is invalid"

Which CatTool Juniper device type are you using?

The Juniper.Router device type should support the Report.Version table activity, so you don't need to run the commands via the Device.CLI.Send Commands activity.

                  Hope this helps.

                  Regards,

                  Steve

and when i want to use the command :

                      "show vlans"

Out of ten times I'm running the command, I get a good output once

                      this is the bed output:

                                                  ^

                      unknown command.

                      ss@SW-XXXXX> terminal   len

                                                  ^

                      unknown command.

                      ss@SW-XXXXXX> terminallen   0

                                                  ^

                      unknown command.

                      ss@SW-XXXXX>

                      ss@SW-XXXXXX>

I found a solution regarding the issue you experience wherein JUNOS is typing "terminal len 0" on the specified device but is not included on the cli send command

just need to Go to the device > variations > under additional commads tab > check disable paging and leave it blank . after that kiwi should not be typing any terminal len 0 on the cli
