HolyGuacamole May 20, 2014 2:25 AM (in response to dimanetz)The use case for federated collectors is quite the opposite. You can deploy FCs in each DC, which store and forward to the VMan virtual appliance. What is the use case for the data to be held in each of the DCs?

HolyGuacamole May 21, 2014 7:40 AM (in response to dimanetz)1 FC can be a collector for 1 VMan appliance only. I guess the options would be
- A parallel set of FCs and VMan
- (semi-workaround) Have an Orion (NPM or SAM) instance sync with VMan for redundancy of data. See blog below
