joelradon Sep 25, 2013 3:58 PM (in response to syldra)Thanks.
Yeah, I thought about uploading my avatar, but I wasn't too sure about the Thwack community yet. Now that I know that there are good people on here, I may have to do that.
P.S. I didnt want to have a silly avatar with one post

syldra Sep 25, 2013 4:07 PM (in response to joelradon)... because the skull and brain one is so much more serious...
I like it here. I've not been here long but there are a lot of interresting discussions going on. The pace is a lot slower than SW (less members) but I have yet to see a polemist here, which is welcome.

joelradon Sep 25, 2013 4:21 PM (in response to syldra)I had to pick the least serious default avatar
I was reading through alot of posts and it isnt as dominated by SolarWinds as I thought it would be which is cool, but it obviously has a SolarWinds flavor to it. Many interesting discussions that arent related to SolarWinds products. It doesnt seem as Microsoft friendly as SW, but I've only poked around for an hour or so. That is just my first impression

Peter Krutý Jan 24, 2014 3:31 AM (in response to joelradon)Hey Guys,
this is known issue, which we tracked under # 260711. It's already fixed in 12.1.0 release, which is now available as RC.

typhoon87 Jan 24, 2014 1:34 PM (in response to Peter Krutý)What is being changed for this as an "issue". I understood this to be a by design so that multiple techs do not modify the same ticket at the same time.

Re: Ticket 15023 is currently being edited by .....
Peter Krutý Jan 27, 2014 10:44 AM (in response to typhoon87)What we changed is the behavior, when you clicked on other menu items, e.g. Setup ticket is now not locked anymore. This was counter-intuitive and users forgot to click on back-arrow to "unlock" the ticket. Now it will be unlocked by opening any other view.

Re: Ticket 15023 is currently being edited by .....
typhoon87 Jan 27, 2014 11:03 AM (in response to Peter Krutý)That is actually a very nice positive change. I am surprised you did not announce that feature when you posted for the 12.1 RC. I think I will grab those bits and update our test instance.

yaquaholic May 19, 2014 9:47 AM (in response to tspwayne)Slight off topic...
We just had one of these, where even the tech couldn't reopen his own ticket, even though it was locked by the same tech account.
I managed to resolve the ticket lock by getting him to logout, I then disabled the account, then re-enabled the account.
When the tech logged back in, the ticket was unlocked again.
Hardly a solution, but certainly a work around.
