There are basically 3 types of components/monitors that require SNMP node to work:
- Process Monitor - SNMP (component type 8)
- Service Status - SNMP (component type 46)
- SNMP Monitor (component type 32)
First two have their equivalent for WMI (Process Monitor - WMI & Windows Service Monitor), but the last one does not.
For overview of applications using some of such component types you can use following query:
SELECT n.NodeID, n.Caption, n.IP_Address, aa.ID as ApplicationID, aa.Name, am.Name as ComponentName, cd.Name as ComponentType FROM Nodes n INNER JOIN APM_Application aa ON aa.NodeID = n.NodeID INNER JOIN APM_Component am ON aa.ID = am.ApplicationID INNER JOIN APM_ComponentDefinition cd ON am.ComponentType = cd.ComponentType WHERE am.ComponentType IN (8,32,46)
To filter this list only to windows nodes you can try to add condition:
AND n.Vendor = 'Windows'

I posted this as a report in the content exchange. It can be downloaded at the link below.
Thanks aLTeReGo that looks like what I'm looking for, A little tweak or 2 to group it the component name for a count and it should be exactly what I need. But thanks for the SQL query within the report that gives me a starting point
