I have been assigned a task to monitor the hardware health of all of our servers. We have Dell and HP servers installed at our end. Dell monitoring is somewhat fine and I am getting the desired results as for dell monitoring you only need to install one agent but for HP it is giving me a hell of headache. One have to install various HP agents to get the desired results and most of the time they do not work. i would like to put up a request that if there can be something done in order to get SAM the hardware health alerts from Dell and HP machines without the need of any agent installed. Either via SNMP or WMI or via anything else. If this can be done, it would become a lot of ease fro the network engineers like my self to get done with our work and will also increase the trust and confidence of Solarwinds customers.
