As Orion polling the multiple h/w details from vendor agent, taking one example where one physical node have Hp agent installed and getting the all h/w details in orion but we are not able to get the physical server rack location.
tested in one Unix box by SSH, where we used the below command to get the rack location.
root@Hostname:~# dmidecode |grep -i rack
HP ProLiant System/Rack Locator
Rack Name: Z10_B07_U2
We don't know how we can see the same details in windows or esxi node.
Is it possible, Any way we can map the same information by any step in orion DB, so we can see the same information in orion console.
If not then it should be mark as feature request and i hope this feature can give more visibility on physical device location.
