Most of the enterprise tools provide this functionality by default... This would come in very handy when u have mix of devices for which u might need to set different settings...
Ex of 1 such enterprise tool is NNMI which provides in all its versions....
If not on per node basis, at-least by creating a group and then allow to apply the custom settings on it...
I would definitely love to see this in future releases...
