I'd like to see a purpose built monitoring solution specific to ICS (Industrial Control Systems) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition). This solution would need to include (but is not limited too):
- NPM - obviously device polling
- SAM - server and applications specific to industrial environments
- NCM - config file backups and compliance
- NTA - CIP (Common Industrial Protocol)
I'm thinking some cool PerfStack and AppInsight stuff, specific views, etc. I could, and likely will, go through and build this stuff myself. But I'm thinking with IoT going on everywhere (and the security concerns!!), it would be awesome to have something like this built in (native).
And YES, I offer up my environment for development/data mining (I mean collection) to assist in the build.
