Currently (NPM 12.1) reports only discards. The errors reportable by device vary with manufacturer, model, and MIB, and some may not even support discards.
There are some 8 or 9 year old posts asking how to do this, so this is actually a long standing request. I imagine that there are dozens of solutions out there, but this is really basic info to know for troubleshooting, and should be included in the product.
Common errors to include might be:
- CRC/FCS
- overrun
- underrun
- collision
- runts
- giants
- generic input error counter
- generic output error counter
- last cleared date/time
Report format should list error types across the top, switch and port name down the left side.
Report should be sortable on any column, numeric, then alpha.
Report should be exportable to excel.
Unsopported error type should be indicated by N/A.
