Keep volumes when changing polling method from WMI to Agent

Looked around but couldn't find a similar request.

Depending on the polling method, swapping to a different polling method results in a loss of historical data.

  • Swapping between SNMP and WMI/Agent, you can generally retain the CPU/Memory data but need to reselect your interfaces and volumes.
  • Swapping between WMI and Agent (or vice versa), you can generally retain the CPU/Memory and interface data but need to reselect your volumes.

If the agent is still using WMI locally to collect data, can I suggest the ability to retain monitored volumes when changing between WMI and Agent statistic polling? With a lot of Windows servers and no volume filters in Sonar Discovery or Manage Nodes, if you need to swap systems between Agent and WMI polling it can be quite tedious to remonitor particular volumes.
