Support for FC devices will not be added to SRM but you can monitor them in Network Performance Monitor (NPM).

I am not why this wasn't something that was included from the beginning. We had it with the old profiler.
It make a SAN Administrators life so much easier to have an all in one monitoring tools. For a lot of us the heart of the our san environment is the switches.
To be able to map map my storage luns to the zones or ports is critical to monitoring, troubleshooting and reporting on the whole environment.
Everything now is a manual process.
