I have so far loved my transition from Cisco Prime to solarwinds with the exception of one item. Running reports in Solarwinds is a complete nightmare! Unlike Cisco Prime where I can first choose what I want to run reports on (e.g. device type, device name, both, etc), then choosing my canned report to run, In SW I have to build out a completely new report template just to run a report on specific items. Just running the canned report as is, crashes many times, since I have over 2000 devices on my network. You can imagine running an interface report and having it try to look at all 200K interfaces on my network. Why is there not a simple method to first choose what I want to run the canned reports on?
