I'd like to have a way for NPM to send an alert through a separate NIC, connected to a separate ISP in the event the main ISP fails. Essentially, I'd like to monitor a port on a switch where the main ISP enters our network. If that goes down, I would like NPM to be able to send an alert out using gmail or something similar (since our hosted Exchange system would not be able to get out) through a NIC connected only to a separate ISP (not to our network) in order to continue sending alerts out. I have logged this with Solarwinds already as case number 988639.
