Ability to create custom tabs!

I see lots of discussion on this on the boards. This feature should have already been implemented! Please give us the ability to create custom tabs that we don't have to dig through tons of files to find the code to do it manually!

Here is a method to create custom tabs.
Adding Custom Tabs To The Top Level Nav Bar
