My organization is primarily an HP house. While I do appreciate WHD being able to 'calculate' a warranty expiration date based on a set warranty duration and purchase date, the calculated value very rarely lines up with the actual expiration date.
For example, I have a system (laptop) that was purchased August 31, 2014 with a 3yr extended warranty. However, HP shows my warranty expiring Oct. 4, 2017.
It would be great if we could have the option to manually define a warranty expiration date rather than being forced to use the calculated value. Right now I'm forced to use a custom field, essentially rendering the native "Warranty Exp" field useless.
