Ability to Split/Duplicate a Ticket

When a user sends through a ticket they often add multiple areas on the one ticket forcing us to redo the ticket to create another issue to be resolved in a different category. It would make life a little bit easier if we could duplicate the ticket similar to the merge function

I've had issues where a user is TRYING to open a new ticket, but because she forwards/replies to an old email that was originally converted to a ticket, the system attaches the email as a comment to the old, CLOSED ticket. This happens even if the user changes the subject line. It's very frustrating not being able to split a comment off to a new ticket.

I am surprised this has not got more votes - this is a very frequent issue with end-users - listing multiple problems on a ticket or e-mail

This would also help with the limited parent/child feature, at least until more options other than 'problem' and 'incident' are added.
