Agent Shared Secret - push update

The only way this would occur if you uninstalled the agent from the endpoint and then re-installed using the exact same shared secret.

Such as, when an agent is updated?

Which is exactly why I would want this to be an option and thus the feature request.

This field does retain the last entry used should the agent fall back into provisioning mode somehow.

Curious -if this is the case, then why do the agents I've configured to be passive/server initiated communication still have "shared secret" as an item indicated when I edit them?

The Shared Secret is used only once for pairing to an Orion server when the agent is in provisioning mode. Once the agent has been tied to an Orion instance certificate authentication is used. You can force an Agent to reprovision itself via local policy, registry, or through Group Policy, as well as define a new shared secret. This cannot however, be done from the Orion server itself.
