I would like to share my idea on how to improve solarwinds more to make it more powerful. This idea actually came from my experience i'm having right now. Currently I'm trying to research on how to add Switch stack in Solarwinds and it turns out that it must be added manually using MIB/OID via Orion Universal Device Poller. I'm having difficulty on finding the correct OID for the stack for me to able to add it manually in OUDP. I'm just wondering if you can have the switch stack to be listed on the resources by default on the next update of NPM. It is very critical for a company to have a visibility of the physical devices although they have one managed IP. I need to have a visibility on the switch stacks in case one of them fails.
