I have been playing with the external tool link in Assets, with links set up to Dameware, Putty & VNC, now we can get on to the laptops, routers and various other devices directly from the client or asset list in WHD. Fantastic!
One thing I think would be useful though would be to associate particular linked tools with assets, asset type or models, instead of seeing all the protocol options against each asset.
eg I have a router listed in the assets but would only ever use the Putty ssh link to get on it so why do I need the Dameware, & VNC buttons next to it?
