Now that my company is almost completely converted to Google Apps it is time for a change to WHD. I would very much like to see the linking of WHD great calendar idea and Google Calendar. Having two calendars is asking for problem (and yes some important dates have been missed because of the storage in two different calendars). SW has the great idea of subscribing to Outlook, but now is the time to link to Google Calendar, too.
Many of our tech can actually go all day without opening the Web UI of WHD, and hence have missed items that they had put in their calendar. We encourage our techs that if they put a ticket on hold that they put an entry in their calendar for getting back to the the ticket. Sometimes these tasks can be weeks or even a month out. The calendar keeps things from falling through the cracks.
