I'd love to see the ability to download/upload the whole or part of the NPM config via a set command line tools.
That way I could create sync scripts between two NPM systems. Would also give a nice way to backup my config. Hint: HP expose this really with with OMW and the ovpmutil commands.
Things I'd like to see would be the ability to download/upload the following components within NPM (and SAM and other modules):
- Nodes
- Templates
- Views
- Users
- Alert configuration (more than the individual alert import/export ability in advanced alerts today which is GUI based)
- SNMP trap configuration (more than the individual rule import/export ability in advanced alerts today which is also GUI based)
- Custom attribute changes
- Group changes (add/mods/dels)
- Dependencies
- Menu bars
- Global settings (like polling intervals etc)
