Creating blackout windows just for alerts

If I am running a release, I don't want the ignite monitor to be blacked out but I would like to be able to blackout specific alerts. This would also help with development environments where I may want to know if the database is down after hours but have all other alerts be blacked out.

this can already be done in 9.0.150. I have index and stats being updated around 1a - 6a and during this time, I have the alert 'Total Blocking Wait Time' blackout during that time frame. The crappy…

I agree, the Alert Blackout is nice but it would be helpful to pick multiple days so that you don't need to create several blackouts for the same time period.

The crappy thing is that you can't just pick multiple days. You can't just say, Sunday - Saturday, blackout from 1a - 6a. I had to create 7 different blackout periods!!
