Please consider adding HP Web JetAdmin as a prebuilt asset discovery connection. This is a management tool that is used fairly heavily in any environment with a moderate or lager amount of HP printers, this application also has limited support for some more popular non HP printers as well.
I am currently trying to set is up with the manual DB table or view I have opened a ticket with support #546746.
