Checklist within ticket

Hi,

We would like to have a checklist available within a ticket / task that is scheduled every week.

Within the task option I know it is possible to have a cascade of different tickets, but f. ex. when we need an install of a specific item,

I want my staff to run down a checklist and confirm they have done every step. The cascade isn't the most usefull option for this.

So within the ticket, I would like to have a list available with options that need to be checked (required or optional)

  • glisit For the limitation of 10 items per checklist there is already another feature request to improve that upvote here

    There are also a couple of other open requests if you search. This was a new feature in 12.6.0 so its a bit of a V1 feature.

  • We are getting ready to roll-out our ticketing system (migrating from Spiceworks) and encountered two baffling limitations with checklists.

    • Only 10 items per checklist.
    • Only 1 checklist per ticket.

    Our current checklist for a new user setup is 15 distinct tasks so now we have to double/triple stack items. I thought maybe we could create two checklists and add them to the ticket (you can do that in Spiceworks also), but you can only do one checklist per ticket.

    Prior to checklists being available, I see people used custom fields for this. Might end up having to do this as a workaround.

  • This feature is now available in 12.6.0 and above.

  • I was also just looking at this. I was disappointed in the limited actions available from the task feature. And I was going to try the Custom Field approach. But it would be nice to to be able to update the status of a ticket once a checklist has been completed.
