MONITOR MAILBOX FOR UNREAD MESSAGES

need the ability to monitor a particular mailbox for messages. We have an application that is supposed to send out emails but every once and a while the service bombs and the only way we know is if a user complains. Would be good to just setup an alert if there are no messages received in a particular mailbox in a configured amount of time.

I can think of several departments that would like this feature but we currently can't help them.

This would an amazing feature. We have quite a few departments that have a shared mailbox they use.

This would be a really useful addition. We have an e-mail processing application and if we were able to set a monitor along the lines of "number of unread e-mails > X" we would be able to automatically detect issues rather than have someone monitor that inbox by hand.
