What We're Working On

SUPPORT MULTIPLE BROWSER MONITORING

Allow SEUM playback to be played back in multiple browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer, FireFox, Google Chrome).

Some applications and website are created around just a few web browsers, the ability to specify the browser for each individual play back would help facilitate

accuarte monitoring, in such instances.

  • Hello. Would there be any news for beta availability? Thanks a lot!

  • @ SolarWinds

WPM is a good module and I like some of the features such as the waterfall and screen shots that are captured as these really do assist greatly when reviewing performance and issues.

However, I'm sure we're not the only ones but, one of our largest applications is designed around Google Chrome.  As a result for some of our key web based applications, we have been forced to go to a 3rd party just for web monitoring.  Despite us having a large SolarWinds infrastructure, the simple lack of multi-browser support is regularly encouraging our IT managers to view SolarWinds competition and see if its worth throwing away years of development and expansion of our SolarWinds suite to another competitor.

I appreciate some features cannot be added quickly but several SolarWinds users have commented on this and its shocking to see such a simple feature that most competitors have is not being incorporated into SolarWinds one and only web transaction tool.

COME ON SOLARWINDS!!!! YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO MAKE WPM AS GOOD AS/BETTER THAN THE COMPETITION - SO GET IT DONE!

  • Every client who uses WPM asks for this capability.  They are always bummed when I tell them no.  SolarWinds, please enable me to be able to say YES! when this question is asked!

  • The longer this takes, the more likely people are going to look to selenium/dalekJS/other tools. I don't blame solarwinds for a tool that they purchased and are trying to migrate not being in a feature complete form, but seriously this is past due.

  • We really appreciate all the comments on this feature request and encourage our customers to continue to vote it up. We really pay attention to these feature requests and want to know how we can make the product work better for you, our customer!
