We currently send text messages to our stand-by support using an SMS service. The issue we are having is that the stand-by support people all use their own phone instead of one phone which is rotated (because this isn't practical for us), which means we have to keep editing our alerts to reflect the phone number of the person currently on stand-by.
I think it would be very helpful if we could simply declare a variable in the alert manager which we can use across different alerts so we can just adjust the variable in one place and all the alerts will automatically use the correct number.
I can image the same thing would go for email addresses, etc.
