In IPAM we have some functionality allowing users to request IP address . It would be great to see this type of idea leak into NCM where users can submit a firewall change request.
Providing a customizable template for users to enter a source/destination IP address, along with protocol (TCP/UDP), and port number.
That request could then sit in a new area till it is reviewed and approved by an NCM Administrator where it can then be pushed a desired firewall or firewalls.
It would also be create to map the fields in this form to a NCM template which automatically correlates the variables entered by the user to the CLI equivalent.
